the purpose

I'm figuring out my purpose...have been for several decades, it seems. You'd think college and marriage and ministry would help secure the answer to the question of who am I? but they haven't so far. So perhaps, if nothing else, this blog will help me delve and discover. For practical purposes, this is an attempt at discipline--to get me thinking, feeling and writing something, anything again after being silent for nearly 4 years. The goal is to have something posted each week--and not just anything, but something to be critiqued, polished and worked on until the words flow and bend with ease, taking each of us on a journey, hopefully of discovery. I ask that if you desire, you'd read my words, see if my sentences flow and and breathe on their own . . . please critique it like a writer, an editor, a reader. If I am ever to make it as a writer, freelance or otherwise, I need your help, friends. I cannot do this on my own. So thank you for your thoughts and knowledge. I trust you.
